Members DeepEnd
Here's another. A forumite in Ohio was looking for an acoustic/electric in the $500 range and I found this on the Akron area Craigslist: http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/msg/1144749286.html. A 1987 Guild D-15M with a pickup and the original hard case for $500.

Members DeepEnd
Now THAT looks like it might be a deal. And, it's very shiny! Okay, so the current owner isn't a "guitar guy." He can't even get the name of the pickup right (it's "Mag Mic," incidentally and they sell for $230 new) or spell "phosphor bronze." But it's still a decent deal if the guitar has no significant issues. If nobody wants it then fine, all anyone has to do is let the listing expire and he'll get the point.
