Members DarkHorseJ27
I have a guitar with an XLR output, and I was wondering who sells some good quality XLR cables. Thanks in advance.
Members Jake7
Balanced Xlr's are, in my experience, much of a muchness. Look for something with Neutrik plugs and decent shock/strain relief and you're set. I have actual Neutrik and planet waves....all good.

Members totamus
Cables have the highest markup of just about anything in retail. Caveat emptor! Yep, Cables are an area where they throw terminology around to convinve you that without the $80.00 cable, you $2000 guitar will not sound as good. It just doesn't make sense to skimp on the the item that delivers your signal to the amp. All bull hockey, but convincing. Members Jake7
Well buy some cable, a handful of neutrik plugs and get soldering! Then no-ones ripping you off!
Members FlaRich
I use a Blue 'Kiwi' between my DI (BBE Acoustimax) and the PA. Good sturdy cable with strain relief and solid connectors and, most importantly, crystal clear sound.
Members daklander
If you're not into building your own call either of these guys. Both are members on the forums and are great to do business with.Audiopile or Audio East. Audiopile is in the west, Audio East (New England Sound and Lighting) in the east.Pro line products and no bull {censored} to wade through. Members DarkHorseJ27
In my opinion different cables will make a difference, my Planet Waves sounds significantly better than my Fender when A/B'd through the same guitars and amps. However, I am also of the opinion that any extra utility an $80 cable will provide, if any, is marginal.

Members daklander
I get mine from this guy: http://stores.ebay.com/Premium-Audio-Cables Comparable cables through Audiopile are $11.00 for 20 footers with the latest Neutrik connectors and color code rings are two bits. That ebay guy has 'em at $24.50.
