I think this is a pretty guitar

I have 5 Vietnamese guitars & 3 Guilds at present.

(Not counting a 1972 D25 I gave to my son).

I need a couple more K1 synthesizers. The batteries are

dead in the two I own. And I'm utterly desolated about that.

I'll never get that string pad sound again on my recordings.

You should get it, Marc...you know that if you don't, you'll always think of it as "the one that got away"...

Besides, at that price, you'll be able to turn a profit should you ever sell it!

I owned a Corona Guild. It just didn't have the sound I expected from a Guild. Of course that means nothing from one guitar to another, but site unseen, I wouldn't buy it.....the price is definitely ok, especially if its for a player...but Fender started painting Guilds with left over paint from the solid body electrics they were making at Corona, and I feel they never really cared much about keeping the Guild name and quality in tact...one of the reasons they ended up in Tacoma...now if that were a Tacoma Guild...I'd buy it in a heart beat...

I don't really care for the color, but it certainly has a nice shape to it. The pickguard, rosette, and bridge are all nicely ordained as well.

seagullplayer77, I know you know how to spell, but I kinda like "ordained" better than "adorned". Good one! :thu:

I have replaced batteries in keyboards and it is not that bad

of a job . Find a decent tech and they should be able to get your

Kawai K1's back going again:)
