Members btb&dr=tone
I have found a Taylor 414 Grand Auditorium but its not he new CE model. It is the mid 90's full body model. I am thinking about getting it. What would be a GREAT pickup for the guitar? With a $300 budget. Thanks in advance guys.

Members btb&dr=tone
I was hoping that was an answer. I did some research on my own and I like that one. Second question on this one is it talked about stereo and mono as far as the wiring. I will most likely run this direct box to a board. Recommendations? Members BLUtunes
Keep in mind that, if you are planning on using it onstage in loud, full-band environments, you won't be able to use the microphone at all, because of feedback problems (and the need to put a feedback buster in the soundhole). If you will be doing very quiet acoustic-only gigs, you MIGHT be able to use the mic. If you wire it in "stereo" (actually, dual mono), then you'd have separate outputs for the magnetic pickup and the mic. That's probably the way you'd want to go. I'd hook it up so that, if you plug in a mono cord, you get the magnetic pickup, because that one will almost always be used. The mic - only in certain situations. This would also allow you to process (eq, etc...) the two sources separately. Wiring instructions should come with the unit.
