Members The Downbeat
The BR-60. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Blueridge-BR60-Contemporary-Series-Dreadnaught-Acoustic-Guitar?sku=430313 It was a really nice guitar, I'm thinking of getting one and putting the L.R. Baggs LB6 in the bridge. What do you guys think of this guitar/company?
Members gitnoob
Great choice. If you're looking for Martin tone on a budget, Blueridge is the way to go.
Members guildfire
I can't get past the headstock design, but I heard they are nice guitars.
Members DeepEnd
Haven't really seen a Blueridge for less than $700 that did much for me but to each his/her own.

Members Nightwatchman9270
Maury's music or Elderly Instruments do a great comparo on their website between similar Blue Ridge and Martin models. Almost makes me sorry I bought the HD-28. If I could just get around to playing one in person, I might actually think about getting one and selling the HD. Members Joshua Borsack
One difference you will notice between the blueridge and the hd28 is the neck. I have never been keen on the blueridge necks, they always feel a little thin. They are also really susceptible to changing their relief because of this and need to be setup more often than a decent martin will.
Members Samilyn
I've only played 2 Blueridge and I loved 'em both. Great feel/playability, both were tone monsters that held their own with our Martins at a recent impromptu jam.
Members Joshua Borsack
They are basically a dead copy of martin, with the only exception being their neck profiles and headstock shapes. Even the factory is set up like the old martin factory. They are a little more delicate than Martin's though and I haven't really figured out why. Members Nightwatchman9270
Yah, actually I woldn't mind either a little thinner or a little fatter neck. The "B" on my Martin lines up right against my first index finger joint, which makes barre-ing an "F" a little tougher than I'm used to. I've never had that prblem with any of the other eight guitars I've owned so I don't THINK it's my technique or anything. Plus I got a pretty good deal on the Martin so I could almost buy a Blueridge with the difference between what I paid for it and what I could sell it for. Members MePeel
I've had a BR 143 For a couple of years now. I hate the headstock, the aging toner, and the pickguard; but the tone is to die for. Once I played it, I had to take it home. Mel
