Members cobberdig Posted March 2, 2012 Members Share Posted March 2, 2012 Oh dear some days we make the postman nervous... I got 3 very nice and distinctly different guitars in this picture. The Aria with open head stock is very mellow, seems to respond nicely to open tunings DADGAD or DGDGCD. Its nicely made, ebony neck, body woods possibly cedar? I think its maybe a custom job made in japan 1993, there is a bunch paperwork that came with it but its all in Japanese. The Yamaha in contrast is quite small but very bright and loud resonates completely different to the Aria. Engleman top, rosewood back and sides the back is really nice on this one i'll have to get another picture of it, ebony neck. good for strumming or picking. Made in Taiwan but don't let that deter you! The Guitar on the right is my old Cimar Jumbo i love that thing gives me the best of both worlds>> ok its sort of sentimental but its very cool.
