Members acousticdepot
In western NY the weather has been fantastic. Since the furnace has been silent ... so has the humidifier. I turned it off the other day with the humidity at 47% ... and now two days later it is up to 49%. I guess it is time to empty it out, give it a cleaning, and put it away until fall. Members DeepEnd
I noted in a recent post that the humidifier is off. Hygrometer is on another floor so I'll give the humidity from the Internet: 53%. Should be similar in my living room since neither the boiler nor A/C is running. Members FretFiend.
It has been a mild winter. I had the humidifiers out and ready for when the humidity dropped, but it never happened. I never even filled them.
Members Greg.Coal
I run humidifiers in winter to battle the ultra-drying effect of the gas furnace on my mucous membranes. I let them go when the furnace goes off - though the humidity drops pretty severely in Denver in the summer, but not like Tucson where I used to live. The guitars do what they will . . . Composite Acoustic guitars, revived by Peavey, are getting more interesting, as are Rainsong. Greg
