Members tony333
I am trying to find a resonably priced left handed 12 string guitar. I see a Martin DX but not many others. Any suggestions?
Members Freeman Keller
The DX12 is a great bargin in the 12 string world, but when talking about "resonably priced twelve strings" I away recommend looking at the Seagull S12+. Looks like they make it in a lefty versionhttp://www.guitarcenter.com/Seagull-...28-i1391082.gc There are some Yamahas in the ~$500 range but I'm not familiar with the model numbers. I believe that the Breedlove Atlas comes in a lefty - it sells for around a grand. And the Taylor 355 is a great guitar - you might be able to find a used one under a thou.http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guita...lectric-guitar Lastly, it is not that difficult to convert a righty to lefty as long as you don't care about reversing the bracing. Fill the saddle slot and route a new one, make a new nut and add a lefty pick guard. The braces and pin holes will be bass-ackwards but it should work fine.
