Members Freeman Keller
Has anyone seen this movie made in 1976 of the last concert the Band did? Features Robbie Robertson, Dylan, Emmylou Harris, Clapton, Ringo Starr and a whole bunch of others. I tried to stream it today but apparently can't. The reason I ask is that it was on Thanksgiving way back then.
Members Surrealistic
Been ages since I saw it but I'd love to see it again. I remember it being wonderful, probably the best music movie of the rock era.

Members Prochnow
"The Last Waltz" is the perfect film in the history of music documentaries. The film is an American rock band "THE BAND" farewell concert in San Francisco for a documentary. The biggest names in the film too much.
Members Professor Tom
I seem to remember Robbie Robertson quoting Ronnie Hawkins "You won't earn much money but you'll get more {censored} thn Frank Sinatra".Brilliant !
Members jamesp
The whole story of TLW is like that von Bismark quip about sausage and legislation: It's probably better not knowing how either get made. "People ask me about The Last Waltz all the time. Rick Danko dying at fifty-six is what I think about The Last Waltz. It was the biggest {censored}in' rip-off that ever happened to The Band
