he has a Honeyburst ESP Navigator LP copy. He came up to visit today and brought his Navigator so we could jam. He let me play it and all I can say is HOLY {censored}. This thing was amazing. ZERO flaws, looked it over many times and couldnt find a singel blemish or flaw. The flame top was stunning, not to gaudy, pure class. I have played dozens of Gibson LPs including custom shop ones. It looked, felt, played and sounded better than any Gibson LP i have ever played. Now I need to start saving $.

Navigators are good, but I'd get an Edwards if you can squeeze the cash! Edwards are made in the ESP factory in Japan.

??????????????????????????????

Navigator are ESP Customshop Replicas.

Made in the Japan customshop.

On par with Gibson Historic.

Edwards are the Japan production models.

A very nice and less expensive alternative to the Navigator.

Yeah I know all that. But god damn are they hella expensive. Thats why I'd rather have an Edwards as they aren't far behind!

But, if you can score a used Navigator it's still usually much less than a used R9.

Once in a while the Navigator and high end Tokai pop up on Ebay.

Usually around the $1300 to $1500 range.

A used R9 will still cost well over $2000.

And I agree for us broke MFs, Edwards is the way to go.
