Members John_McEnroe
Have any of you played this guitar? Looks like it might be just what im looking for. I think they have added the pickguard again? Hopefully as the tele's with no guards look a little suspect. Does anyone know if one can aquire pickup covers to give a bit more of a classic look? Members MattACaster
Looks like they got pickguards to me.I actually bought an American Standard Tele and had it modded for a bridge humbucker about 2 weeks before I knew these were coming out. Kind pissed about that.
Members John_McEnroe
hmm looks good, I hadnt seen a pic. Its too bad you cant see the guitar in black or pewter or something. Who on earth would want a blue and black telecaster?

Members Brian May
Although I've no doubt they are fine guitars in themselves. To me a Tele without a bridge single coil sitting in that metal bridge plate is no Tele at all!

Members TheDarxide
The pewter one is nice, is an alternative to the John5:http://namm.harmony-central.com/SNAMM04/Content/Fender/PR/John-5-Tele-sm.jpg I'm not keen on the headstock on that one.
