Members Johnny-Boy
Flip a coin as far as ASCAP and BMI go. SESAC you have to be invited to join. John:cool:
Members sventvkg
Yes...SESAC is a for profit company and is the smallest for a reason. The are interested in your career and will help you to make the most $$ because they then make the most. You have to be invited to join. ASCAP and BMI are non-profit, by FAR the bigger and bloated and you'll get less..well,no attention. I'm in Publishing class now and we just finished up the PRO's. I like SESAC if you can get in. Members Johnny-Boy
How would one procure an invitation to join SESAC? And what do they do for you if you do? Terry D. Your music (and you) will be evaluated by SESAC's staff. ASCAP & BMI don't evaluate you. Giving SESAC a phone call is a good place to start. From what I've been told, SESAC already uses digital fingerprinting to aggressively seek royalties for their members. http://www.sesac.com/WritersPublishers/affiliate.aspx John:cool:
Members A. Einstein
And what do they do for you if you do? No information on what they do different, or perform better then other author societies. In other words, they are not as good as other author societies.
