Members scapier
Hey folks Can anyone suggest a basic cd player that is rackmountable? I just need it to play CDs for reference in the studio, I won't be burning masters, as I do all that on the computer. Spencer ps looking for something under $150. Is there such a thing? Members matthew13l
Here's a couple. They're $200, but that's the lowest price I've seen. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=home/search/detail/base_pid/804025/ http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=dj/search/detail/base_pid/800152/ I don't know anything about the quality of these though
Moderators Lee Knight Posted August 23, 2005 Moderators Share Posted August 23, 2005 I got a cheap Sony single CD (Cambridge? mail order) and mounted it on a Middle Atlantic rack shelf. The whole deal was around $100.

(that's what I did...) That was my original plan when I couldn't find the old Sony single tray, but... those damn cheap DVD players suck so bad. I've gone through 3 in the past 2 years. I finally DID find the Sony at Cambridge mail order and snapped it up. If the DVD player continues to work for you, amen. But don't don't suprised when it keels over... tomorrow.
