Members Gravity
http://www.rondomusic.net/820.html I've been bitten by the hollow body gas buck. It's yet to be determinied if it's a terminal infection. I like to play blues based hard rock, but it's more punk hard rock style than blues if that makes any sense. I use tube amps with medium gain / overdrive. It seems to me like I could have alot of fun with a hollow body. Whad'yall think ?
Members mrmikers
Those can be nice guitars for the money but ordering those is a real crapshoot. I think you're pretty lucky if you get sent a good one. The one I got was awful, cracks and defects in the finish, terrible strings and set-up. I gave it a chance, put new strings on,set it up,adjusted the intonation and neck etc...but ended up returning it for refund. Just wasn't worth keeping. IMO you're better off checking out the ones you can find in stores if that's possible.
Moderators daddymack Posted November 23, 2005 Moderators Share Posted November 23, 2005 first of all, it is a semi-hollow. As noted, since you will have to go the mailorder route, you may want to reconsider...have you done a check in the HC AS820 reviews ? If you get a good one, it is certanly on a par with something like the Epi Dot Studio ...
