Members dougbeens Posted February 1, 2006 Members Share Posted February 1, 2006 it's not often i see or play a guitar that actually gets me excited.... but sometimes a guitar comes around (even just an image) that gets my heart beating a little faster.... makes it a little harder to draw a full breath. oh man... 1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior (double cut) so this... is love? All about personal taste, isn't it? speaking purely on cosmetics alone, I'd take the junior - single or double cut (and preferably in TVY) any day over the standard - no contest. All things, not just looks, considered, though, if it was being given me I'd take the 59 standard, sell it, clear the mortgage, and then buy soem very nice guitars with the extra money I'd have every month!
