Moderators Lee Knight Posted March 29, 2007 Moderators Share Posted March 29, 2007 As an aside... a lot of acrylic carpet is very refective above 10k. Listen and see if it's a problem. Is that gypsum board? That's a cool idea.

Is that gypsum board? That's a cool idea. The disk is 3/4" particle board. The cover is a soft spongy shelving material that is designed so things don't slide. Can also be used in tool boxes. Being my first attempt the thought was I may get some good diffusion of sound due to the material and the open weave. Time will tell. I still have some things to do with the mics before I give it an honest try.
