Mr. WickedGTR himself goes on record and states that Wicked Game was done with a 62 RI, silverface twin w/ JBL's, Roland delay and a little volume pedal for swells. Herschel was playing two Fender combos, mostly strats, and a 12-string semi-hollow which I think may have been a Rick. Isaak. Played a Fender combo & a white Gib 335 or 355, couldn't tell. The bass player was also using Fender amps with what looked like two 8x10 cabs. Fender bases, and an acoustic that I didn't recognize. The whole show sounded *really* good.
