Members ChihliDog
Yamaha Pacifica. Yeah, I know, you guys are all gonna think Im nuts, but I owned a cheapy one, and it played great, felt great, sounded great, and did anything I wanted it to, from metal, to nice warm clean tones, to blues, it could handle anything. Give me a high - end one and I'd prolly good to go.
Members jeffcoop
This one: FWIW, Paul McCartney agrees (though his is the real thing from the '60s, and mine is a modern Elitist). But I recognize it wouldn't work for everyone.
Members Gochaz
My Les Paul Junior. Plenty of midrange, which makes it fairly versitile, and it a rock machine. A fatter neck would be nice, though.
Members Philphine
i'm not a professional in any way, so some issues (dead reliability, particular tones) don't matter to me. i keep my first nice guitar, an ovation breadwinner. or, since i really like my headless guitars, maybe try to have the best of both worlds and sell off everything and try to get a klein. Members woodsmandan
...if I had to pick only one of the guitars I own (Gibby SG. Fender Tele, Epi Wildkat, Squier '51 ) ...it would be my '51... One guitar, whole lotta tones !!!
Members mmcquain
It's a toss up between my Les Paul Custom Premium Plus and CS-356. But I may lean towards the 356 since I love the tones I can get out of the Classic '57 PUPs in it.
Members Adrian Crow
If i could only have one guitar for the rest of my life it would be a Gibson Custom Shop 1957 Les Paul Custom 3 Pickup with Bigsby VOS Electric Guitar. I love Les Pauls and I think the more Pickups the better. the Only thing that would make it better is if it were in cherry burst.
