Phil O'Keefe Posted June 7, 2010 Share Posted June 7, 2010 If you have the space, and that space is mechanically and acoustically isolated from the rest of the facility, I think it would be an interesting and possibly useful DIY project. Finding the "right" metal plate itself would probably be the most difficult aspect of it. I think tracking down suitable drivers and pickups would probably be easier by comparison.
