Members LaXu
Bad Monkey. The Hothead Distortion, Digiverb and Digidelay are not that bad either.

Members Jimi Ray Halen
The Whammy & the Hendrix pedals. The whammy is a serious piece of work. So many sounds - it takes awhile to master. The Hendrix pedal is just plain badass. So many cool tones that can be used on all kinds of stuff.....including Jimi! Moderators BATCAT Posted October 12, 2006 Moderators Share Posted October 12, 2006 I can't decide between the Digiverb and the Bad Monkey. They're both terrific!
Members DenverDave
I use both the Bad Monkey... ...and the GNX3000 (when I play ampless). Can't pick a fave - but probably the Bad Monkey because it's a world class Tube Screamerish pedal at a stupidly low price..
Members Prages
I've got a Bad Monkey and a DigiDelay. I use the DigiDelay more. The BM isn't even on my pedalboard, but I do use it for recording from time to time. I have to go with the DigiDelay as my favorite.
Members waveman
Digitech X Series Hot Rod Rock Distortion 1. It does a very good DS-1 sound 2. It does a very good Big Muff Sound 3. Can be used as a solo boost with the gain down 4. Can get a nice SRV sound the only thing this pedal will not do is metal, but they have another pedal for that anyway. Very versitile pedal. I have or have owned Bad Monkey - got rid of it, like the boss SD-1 better Hot Head - Got rid of it, Hot Rod sounds way better Tone Driver - More versital than the Bad Monkey, basically does the same thing Metal Master - Good if you want all out Metal Gain - I wished this thing had a gain control, It would be much more useful Grunge - Great for 80's stuff, but the louder you play it, the muddier it gets RP 5 - No longer own one, recently bought one for $40, quickly sold it. It just sounds horrible compared to newer cheaper modelers RP 7 - Ahh yes a tube, unfortunately the tube sounds in this thing sucks arse, the other sounds just don't compare to the newer cheaper stuff. no longer have it neither Buddy has a GNX 3000 I like this one more than I thought I would, but for a multi-effects it does the job

Members mueller
I have a DigiDelay and a Bad Monkey. I probably use the Bad Monkey a little more, so I'll go with that, but I like them both a lot. Seems like I'm not alone in my opinion.

Members cratz2
Lots of love for the Bad Monkey... and that is how I will vote as well. Only Digitech pedal I still own though I've probably owned more Digitechs than any other brand.
Members book_of_lies777
I own both the Bad Monkey and the Death Metal pedals - both excel at what they were designed to do. Actually, I own 2 Bad Monkeys! I used to own the Grunge - it was okay for abit, but I tired of it pretty quickly and traded it.
