  1. As others have said, Ebay completed listings. Also, use the reviews section here and look at used prices. Use www.searchtempest.com and do a global Craigslist search, see how much they're running for. You can generally get $50 or so more on Craigslist than Ebay simply because they don't have to deal with paying for shipping or the wait and can see it in person. Selling for LESS than Ebay on Craigslist on hurts you. I dunno, I typically list things for more on eBay to account for the ridiculous fees.
  2. Do an eBay completed items search, knock $50 off the average, and put 'em on craigslist.
  3. Home used (6 months) Weber Micro Mass 15 Watt. $60 shipped. I love this thing, but I just got a Tweed Deluxe (in pic) and it's 12 watts, and I'm told I should have a bigger attenuator for that. My Micro Mass is in perfect shape, was used solely at home, with a 6w Vibro Champ. It works wonderfully, and has that great two knob system for low-mid and high-mid attenuation. It really lets the amp shine through. Lemme know. pic
  4. One more vote for "Great guitar, awesome sleeper" My first electric guitar was a Blackie Predator in around 96. I bought it used for $125 at a store and probably overpaid. That guitar disappeared in a cloud of sawdust wherein it received a new set of pickups, then body, then neck, then bridge. In a fit of nostalgia I bought another one in 2006. For $125 shipped. It played, felt, sounded, and even smelled like my old one. It has a unique neck profile, somewhat chunky. I like it. The pickups are hot and have a unique sound. The tuners are crappy and imprecise, but they don't slip, and they work. The frets on the old predators invariably have to be dressed. Once you do that they're awesome playing guitars. I couldn't justify keeping my second predator, and I put the vintage noiseless pups I had originally bought for the first predator about 9 years ago, upgraded the electronics, dressed the frets, cleaned it up, and sold it for a nice profit. Bonus gutshot!
