Members SexWithRobots
I have the focusrite 2i2o and I am having a problem when recording guitar on it. If I am using a guitar with humbuckers direct in and playing through guitar rig the signal is way too hot even with the gain on the focusrite all the way down, when I strum a chord my meters are all the way in the red and any settings I seem to change in guitar rig don't bring it down at all . My single coil tele is a little better but still seems like theres not much range in the gain knob. Any suggestions? I am using this at home and going through Sonar where I use guitar rig in Sonar for the guitar tones.

Members SexWithRobots
I found some other people having the same problem apparently if your guitar has pickups that are too hot it clips even with the gain all the way down so you have to roll back the guitar volume, lame. Why wouldn't they put a pad setting for this very reason.
