Members TheLunatic_MH
Toolin' around on e-bay and found my fist amp for sale. Peavey Fury I started out on bass.... Oh and if you look close there is an other similar amp he's selling. Got the market covered on crappy bass combos..
Members RaVenCAD
My first amp was a Gorilla TC-35, in RED tolex.. I'd kill to find a red one just to say I've got one.
Members Kingsnake
I have a bunch of what would be called "beginners" amps. Marshal MG10CD Ibanez IB10G Pignose Hog 20 portable VOX AD30VT For the $$$, I would say go for the VOX - downright kicks ass. And RaVenCAD - my SCUBA diving partner has a Gorilla TC-35 in red. Man, this thing is WICKED!
Members Cletus Spuckle
My first amp was a Peavey Rage 158. I owned it about two months. Fury? Rage? What is it with those Peavey people?
Members Devinstation
My first REAL guitar amp (played through a Peavey Microbass first) was an Epiphone Valve Special. Pretty good, but the speaker is pure crap, I dont bother with it anymore, but I always wanted to try it with a new speaker. BTW this thing just sits here collecting dust, Im thinking of buying the guts for another amp (low wattage) and a new speaker and making myself a new amp. Members BlackCat
My first Amp was actually decent. It was an old 60s Ampeg Gemini II. The only problem was that I was trying to play bass through it. It farted like a flatulent beagle I really didn

Members docrock55
My first amp in 1969 was a solid state Univox with a 12" speaker. My cousin tryed to trade me his amp straight accross. I told him his stupid twin reverb was outdated, and the future was solid state.
Members Vibroluxman
First amp was a Randall Practice Amp that my dad made me buy. God that thing was horrible.
Members Hudman
I started with an old Sears Silvertone amp that used to belong to one of my older cousins back in the early 1970's. It sat down in his mom's basement for 15 years. It smelled terrible and sounded like crap (I realize now that it probably needed new tubes). I upgraded to a Gorilla amp a few months later.
