Way back when I first learned about guitar, I thought about making my own guitar. I actually broke open an old hard drive and took out the ceramic magnets so I could wind a pickup....I figured stronger is better. Natch, nothing came of it... They're not used to a lot o' traffic, and they're a bit protective of their space, so act nice & be respectful (you may not get a second chance), and you can learn a ton...
