Members studdhuss
Alrighty,Well I've decided to shell out for the right pickups.TV Jones Classic/Classic plus.It looks like these dimensions will work for my Gretsch Electromatic Pro Jet.The rings are what I'm considering, HM-2 Gretsch style. Will these dimensions work with the rings?More of a question on the neck pickup because it is so close. It's going to be $250 fot the pickups...yikes...but here's your chance to keep suggestions going on pickups.(Sorry, No GFS as I've heard enough negatives already)Thanx dudes y dudettes.http://www.tvjones.com/dimensions_tvclassic.htm

Members docjeffrey
I'm not sure about the dimensions, but you are going to LOVE those pickups. I've got TV Classics on my 6128 EE and they are my favorite humbuckers ever. I did not opt for the plus on the bridge because I wanted to maintain the vintage flavor of the little Duo Sonic, but I may put one on my 6120. Members guitarcapo
You might also want to consider "Hi-Sensitivity" Filtertrons made by Gretsch. There's a guy on Ebay who sells them for 75 bucks each and they have a great sound. I have a pair in a large hollowbody and they are just the right amount of creamy bright output. I think they use alnico magnets and have a nice moderate output like the TV Jones Classics.
