Alrighty,

Well I've decided to shell out for the right pickups.

TV Jones Classic/Classic plus.

It looks like these dimensions will work

for my Gretsch Electromatic Pro Jet.

The rings are what I'm considering, HM-2 Gretsch style.

Will these dimensions work with the rings?

More of a question on the neck pickup because it is so close.

It's going to be $250 fot the pickups...yikes...

but here's your chance to keep suggestions going on pickups.

(Sorry, No GFS as I've heard enough negatives already)

Thanx dudes y dudettes.

I'm not sure about the dimensions, but you are going to LOVE those pickups. I've got TV Classics on my 6128 EE and they are my favorite humbuckers ever. I did not opt for the plus on the bridge because I wanted to maintain the vintage flavor of the little Duo Sonic, but I may put one on my 6120.

You might also want to consider "Hi-Sensitivity" Filtertrons made by Gretsch. There's a guy on Ebay who sells them for 75 bucks each and they have a great sound. I have a pair in a large hollowbody and they are just the right amount of creamy bright output. I think they use alnico magnets and have a nice moderate output like the TV Jones Classics.
