Members paul44
I reported 3 yesterday alone. One ended with some poor sod being screwed out of $860 and the other two are still up and running. What's the {censored}ing point? Here's the one that ended.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=330202307211&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=014 And these two are still up.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120205780548&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=002 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140194522034&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=
Members Critical Ninja
All eBay cares about is money...they got their fees from that first auction, that's all that matters. eBay will go out of their way to protect sellers, but could give a damn about buyers. What bothers me is now that they don't show bidders names anymore once the auction goes over $200, so you can't warn bidders that they are being ripped off. Buyer beware. How do you tell if they are fakes? The first one I could see the truss rod cover with three screws which as far as I know Gibson don't do. But the others I wouldn't be able to tell. The knobs on the 2nd one are all wrongs....the knobs are supposed to be \ but instead they're //. And the 3rd one just looks fake....
Members ajympt
If people are going to pay a lot of money sight unseen to someone with 5 feedbacks without doing their homework then they are going to get screwed. Its too bad, but its the state of EBAY anymore. I have gotten some good guitars, but I check it out and I talk to them a lot-I agree though that reporting is near pointless- EBAY only takes action if a company complains as far as I can tell. Members NOS68
I reported that 1st one too, but good news on that one. After the listing ended 2 others and I emailed the winning bidder and stopped the sale. After a listing ends the winning bidder is shown.
