A Question about Gibson P90 pups

I don't specifically know about P-90s or Epi vs Gibson, but in my experience, you get the most bang for your buck in terms of sound and playability by upgrading the pups on a decently crafted, moderately priced guitar rather than sinking thousands more into a high-end axe.

I would feel confident saying that the P90s in a Gibson are not the same as the P90s in an Epi. Dog ears and soapbars are really just different housings as far as I know, should sound the same. However, Gibson P90s are probably made the same place as the guitar, whereas Epi pups will be made in Asia with everything else Epi.
