Members Kat73
I just found out my friend, who is a really good guitarist, has only 1 guitar. And he's not even jonesing for another one. What gives? I just don't understand some people...
Members sylvesterlowery
Some people just don't have the gear acquisition bug. I don't trust em'! They are strange creatures.
Members Alchemist
well I have multiple playing styles that I developed kind of independently durring different phases over the years..... if I were to stick to mainly one genre or style, I would be pretty content with just one guitar and one amp.... but variety is the spice of life, and sometimes the best way to get out of a rut is to change up some gear and try some new tones for inspiration.... Members TheVelvetJam
Does he have a "perfect tone" achieved or in mind at all? 'Cause I know I'm still searching for my soul. I'm pretty sure it's in an ES 335, but then again, I said that about the Gibby SG.

But the third really isn't on account of HCEG. And I wanted the other two before I introduced myself here.. But you bastards pushed me over the edge. Members bungholio281
I don't find myself wanting much really. I absolutely LOVE the guitars I have now. The only guitars I really jones for are other EBMM's, and I would like to grab a tele and an explorer... but as for amps, I do want an Engl or a Bogner someday
Members TheVelvetJam
Haha, thanks, I need an acoustic first though Alvarez RF20M please Yeah, a buddy of mine at guitar center knocked off a lot of money on a thin-bodied Ovation acoustic-electric. I should've bought that guitar BEFORE the Gibson

Members Kat73
How long can you post and / or talk about ONE guitar? Not long, but I admire my friend's willpower. I'm assuming it's willpower. But, maybe he doesn't feel like he needs more than one. I was like that at some point in my life. Don't know what happened. I can't even begin to imagine how much better I might be if the time I put into gassing and modding and changing strings, and A/Bing were put into just playing. Ronnie Earl, one of the greatest players I've ever heard, has like three or four Strats; period. And at least two of them are forty plus years old (original owner). PS And he has or at least uses no effects.
Members intothevoid
I have two guitars, but one of them is the one I got when I first started and is terrible. So I only ever play one. And I don't really want another one. Maybe if I started gigging I'd get something real cheap for a backup but that's about it.
Members sheepeH
When I bought my last guitar, my friend ask me "what? are you crazy?? why would you need another guitar?" then I laughed and called him a noob. and died a little inside knowing im way too deep into HC
