Members dcindc
Larry's in the Elite CD player right now, and he was the best concert I've ever seen. Sunken Gardens Amphitheatre in San Antonio in the late 80s.
Members stormin1155
Wow! Tasty indeed! I'm going to see Larry Carlton with Robben Ford next weekend. 2nd row - center. It's going to be awsome.
Members metallica_00
Their playing is great but I'm just not a big fan of Room 335 as a song. It's almost unbearably cheesy sounding. No doubt Larry is a killer player though, I just prefer his work in the context of other songs.
Members Digital Dexterity 13
Stormin, you're going to see Carlton and Ford today? That's amazing -- you've got to file a report here. Are they playing in Iowa? I gotta check out the tour schedule. I'd REALLY like to see that combo live. I think they've already got a CD out. That Room 335 clip that started this, that's a good example of how killer playing can rescue and elevate a drive-time-radio jazz-lite tune. And you're right -- it does make you want to run right out and score a 335.

Can't wait to see him team up with LC. Two of the greatest guitar players alive in my opinion.
Members J San Dimas
Great song. As for Jazz Guitarists, Norman Brown is also phenomenal! as is Ken Navarro. Local boy Rohn Lawrence definitely knows how to burn up the fretboard too!
