Members csm
i like what i see, but is it worth the asking price / I mean, it is 675 Quid. That is OVER $1300.00 USD Would you say it is 'better' than the s/c equiped Dean's that is out there ? I know almost nothing about this brand ! http://cgi.ebay.com/DEAN-GUITARS-ELECTRIC-RESONATOR-CHROME-w-GOLD-2592_W0QQitemZ140215474396QQihZ004QQcategoryZ113478QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQ_trksidZp1638.m118.l1247QQcmdZViewItem ...i'll admit, i do NOT like the two-tone ! Not familiar with the Dean. Are Ozarks distributed in the US? Their website doesn't specify, but you can always try and get some info by emailing 'ozark@stentor-music.com' Remember: in the UK we pay almost a quid to your buck for US-made/distributed stuff. Members tlbonehead
Fishman makes a transducer that actually fits in the cone and sounds decent but they will feedback pretty easily. My Michael Kelly has this pickup in it, as does the Fender cutaway model. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-FR50CE-Cutaway-AcousticElectric-Resonator-Guitar?sku=511561
Members Oldskool Texas
Are Ozarks distributed in the US? I have a Hohner HRM400 that is EXACTLY the same as an Ozark 3616 - so I suspect that some of their models are being brought to market here in the states under various guises. The headstock on the Ozark 3515BTEG is identical to the one on the Dean Chrome G. Here's a side-by side attempt: Ozark, Hohner Ozark, Dean
