They just make them better Les Paul Classic Antique Zebrawood: Hamer Trio (why not?): Edwards: Best sounding: Gibson Best overall quality/craftsmanship: Hamer Best bang for the buck: Edwards. Especially for the guy who bought it from me for $650. It only got 1 bid!!!!! Used Hamers, but my guess is that prices will slowly increase. I can't believe that my Monaco Elite got no bids. Now I'm glad, actually I got really good deals on both my Gibbies and my Hamer Special. My LP Classic was minty w/ohsc, $750. LP Studio Doublecut was very good condition w/hsc (non-Gibson), $525. One of those "sitting in the case never getting played" scenarios. It was more than my then self-imposed $500 limit (which I'd already "bent" to get the case for my Studio DC as part of that deal), but I realized those type deals don't come around often, and I sold a couple guitars to get the dosh up.
