If I have to focus on something, I can do that but most of the time it's auto-focus. And I'm not using anything special. Though it'd be nice if I did, I don't want everything in focus, I like to use depth-of-field to give that 'film'/movie quality, but I can only get away with so much using a point n' shoot.
