Members RoadRanger
I just ordered up one for $90 shipped based upon some recommendations on TalkBass. Anybody here used one or some other sub-$200 mic on a bass cab?

Members RoadRanger
The D112 is somewhat "scooped" AKA pre-EQ'd for a kick drum. The AKG P2 is flat on the mids and low end:http://recordinghacks.com/microphones/AKG-Acoustics/D-112http://recordinghacks.com/microphones/AKG-Acoustics/P2
Members Pro Sound Guy
Well bottom line is it is a 100.00 microphone. In all my years I think the only band I put a mic on the bass was the Grass Roots and the guy had a tube SVT withthe big 10's cab. D.I. seems to be the norm
