Members Richard King
I have a VERY small business where I convert old media (video and audio tape and 8mm film) to digital. i'm currently exploring the purchase of equipment to do 16mm film to DVD conversions. While doing my research I came across this 16mm film dub: Great stuff. If someone would only bring me a few similar projects rather than old family films I would be a happy guy. Take a look and enjoy.

Moderators Lee Knight Posted October 25, 2010 Moderators Share Posted October 25, 2010 I remember that Ry era fondly. What a laid back yet totally confident groove. All the way from Ry's claw technique to Bobby King's very first hand clap jumping into the groove. Freakin' great. Flaco Jimenez?
Members UstadKhanAli
That guitar groove is amazing. So is the solo. Both have such a beautiful, beautiful groove, just an exquisite sense of time. So many times I hear Ry Cooder's playing, and I'm just in awe. He can be really quite creative too. The whole thing sounds fantastic. Makes me wish I had been there.
Members Lukenskywalker
Holy be Jeezus!... Bobby King and a young Ry Cooder...one of the 'bestest' studio Cats of all time. Ry Cooder has always been dear to my corazon but when he went to Cuba to record and document the 'Buena Vista Social Club'... Dios Mio! what an accomplishment! Members UstadKhanAli
You should have heard him gig with them. He was always really subtle, all too willing to let the Cubans take the stage, but he would do these beautiful angelic countermelodies by volume pedaling in with a delay, or taking a beautiful solo when the time called for it. Absolutely gorgeous.
