    I haven't tried it. I'm not even sure I know what it does. But reckoned I ought to let you folks know about it. But it's free for today.

    I gather from reading the comments at the giveaway site that this is the freebie version with limited functionality... same as the freebie version available at the MagicScore website. If you want the full version, it'll cost ya about $20.

      MuseScore works well for my limited needs. Got some quirks but I like it. I haven't begun to explore its potential: http://musescore.org/

        I rarely need to notate, but I've gotten great results using the full version of TablEdit.

          You can use MagicScore Notation Software (more info http://www.musicaleditor.com/magicsc...-products.html)

          Some programms are free, but other are cheap.
