Members gardo
I've been reading a lot about semi-hollows lately with the Epiphone thread ,the pic of the day and Punk Kitty's beautiful new guitar so I want to ask a question. What strings are you guy's using on your semis? I currently have DR Pure Blues Solid Nickel 10's, a little dark but a cool vintage sound.

Members kayd_mon
D'Addario 11s with a wound 3rd on all my semi-hollow guitars except my Hamer Duotone, because the piezo in the Duotone sounds much better with heavier strings. The only other guitar I have that doesn't get the 11s/wound 3rd set is my RG, which gets a plain 3rd (still a set of 11s, though).
Members kayd_mon
*forgot to say, my Duotone gets a set of 12s. I used to put 12s on my Dot also, but I switched to 11s and was just as happy.

Members michael5853
Gibson Brite Wires - 10's. These sound great on my Epi Dot and I almost always play through my Fender BLues Jr. Excellent strings!
Members stormin1155
10-52 GHS Boomers have been my go-to strings for all of my electrics, including semi-hollows, for years. I've tried others, but keep coming back to these.
