Members wraaaa
I'm looking for a new bedroom amp with an effects loop and a master volume control. I'm planning to test out the Blackstar HT-5 and the Cornford Carrera (if the cornford dealer near me has one in stock). Obviously the two are in vastly different price ranges so I'm praying I'll end up liking the Blackstar more. Has anyone compared these two and are there any others I should consider? I'm open to any price range.

Members Sikor
I have a Koch Studiotone 20 combo, great amp :thu Quite loud though. Can be easy too loud, depends how quiet You want to play. Look also at Laneys: VC-15 and LC-15R. I am not sure whether LC-15R has a fx loop. My ultimate quiet bedroom amp? Microcube

Members twohailmarys
You might want to try an Egnater Rebel. Effects loop, master volume, and watt control.
Members Dr. Goldenglove
Hayden Mofo - it's got an attenuator switch, so in the "quiet" mode it goes to about 2-3 watts.

Even a Deluxe is way too clean for me at stage volumes. Do you play metal or something?
