Members Gremson
I think it looks rad. I'd love to have a snare with blue/silver duco finish to go with my kit. There's a vintage niche for just about everything else, where's the duco love?
Members cearleywine
I'm not big on it, but I do think the silver and blue is likely the best looking. The last decade sure pumped out a lot of fades though.
Members Consume
You might be able to find it in Formica's catalog, they used to have what seemed like thousands of colors. You'd probably need to get what is called "VT" ("Very Thin") which is half the thickness of regular Formica. I used to build kitchen cabinets and I wrapped a kit in real mirror chrome steel that Formica makes - not the plastic fake chrome, but the real deal - comes in 48"x96" sheets. I have no idea what kind of price it is these days.
Members 6topher
I likes the duco - none in my collection - but have been keeping my ebay eye open for a silver/blue 60's 8 lug Slingerland.

Members manoeuver
somebody chime in if I'm mistaken. duco was a cheap finish used to save dough. unused today cause of better finishing techniques. I do like the duco look though. It has its share of adherents in the vintage community.
Members FitchFY
There is something classy to dual color on the right set of drums and right player -- I saw a blue/ silver sparkle at one point on something omdern and thought it looked great... maybe SJC or Truth? One of the Keller shell custom companies, possibly on tour with Paramore or something in 2008...

Members melvinspeed
Alright, I give.... What's a Duco finish? Yeah, I can google it and see pics. Looks like a burst. Seems like it's paint rather than stain? Edumacate me!
