It looks like a Modified Teisco type of import to me. The headstock looks like it was a Fender shape at one point and they cut the wood away to lmake it look like a parker. The bad cut and the refinished headstock is evidence of that. Looks like the body was reshaped too. If the knobs are original it may be something from the early 80's

The body does have a bit of a Univox look to it but nailing it down to literally thousands of fender like copies is going to be tough.

I don't think it dates back to the 70's Its likely made in the 80's. Japan was still respecting counterfeit laws then and made enough changes to keep their guitars looking unique. It may be a branded version made by one of the many Japanese importers sold as a beginners guitar. You'd find stuff like that sold in music stores to parents getting their kids a first instrument.

Its worth? With the butchered headstock its unlikely worth more then $50~100 tops.

Heres a typical Teisco. You can see how the horns have a similar hook to them. You'd really have to do some digging to find an exact match. You find the newer they got the, less chunky they began to make guitars. Sharper edges, and better construction and closer copies to American guitars happened. They made dozens of different models each year under many different names.

Heres another.

You can see how this Kawai is very similar and is a bit closer to the one you posted. . Its got the nut cover and body shape. Pickguard and hardware are different of course but they reused many of the same body shaped for repeated years. Its essentially cosmetics like the headstock hardware and pick guard that's change between many of the the branded instruments.

You'd really have to have an exact year to narrow down the possibilities.

Yea, it looks like someone cut it off with a hand saw to get a Parker Guitar look. I say that because they couldn't keep a good right angle in the center where it changes direction. If they had used a jig saw or band saw they could have kept a right angle to the face of the headstock.
