Moderators isaac42 Posted January 5, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 5, 2016 Changing strings a while back, I noticed that the neck on my mapleglo Ric 4001 wasn't quite as it should be. I started looking for a Ric truss rod tool. I found some on line. Today, I had occasion to go to a local hardware store, and asked if they had a ¼", thin walled nut driver. No luck. As I was within walking distance from Bullfrog Music, I dropped in to see if, by chance, he had such a tool. No, he had only one ¼" tool, and he had to file that down for use on Rics. but he offered to adjust my Ric for free. Can't beat that!
Members DeepEnd
+1. Absolutely. The nearest music store is Go Music but I normally go to Music Folk, which is a bit further away but a great place for acoustic players. David's Guitar Loft is down the block from them and I stop in there sometimes as well.
