Members Rabid
Does anyone else glance at that picture in a thread and think "He's givng me the finger"? Maybe too much real life experiencve is coming into play, but after a few weeks I'm still not used to that picture. I still think "why is he giving me the finger?" Members controlvoltage
OHHH! two in the pink, only one in the dusseldorf? No wonder I've been getting such complaints! BTW Gus I think your avatar is stylie-oso... you look like you've got your modular patched up and ready to ROCK.
Members Purity_Control
in england the gesture means something totally different... usually used by pagans, cheesy rockers, or pagan cheesy rockers... supposedly the two raised fingers sybolise the devil or the horned god, whereas the 3 unraised fingers (ok, so it's actually 2 fingers and a thumb) symbolise rejection of the holy trinity... Members orangefunk
LIke Purity says, The gesture is considered cheesy in the UK, in a kinda ironic "I'm 40 years old but I'm still down with the kids" way... But then again we're all cynics in the UK. Interesting to hear about the Pagan influence.
Members BonsoWonderDog
I went to an Evanescence concert in February........this is a new band with 16 y/o kids rockin', and they're still doing the devil sign and headbanging.....so no way this is "old".
