I have the one with the toy MS-20 controller, and I think that thing is a HUGE advantage. It's the softie I program the most by far. And then, I got this classic stringer on loan: It sounds so good I jizzed my pants when I first played it. There's no way I'm letting this one go, I'm buying it. Love it. Better than Solina. Excellent. Amazing. Someone modded this with a little phaser circuit, gives it a nice, mild and soft phase right out of the box.
