We had some good success at forum collabs previously and thought it might work out on this one as well

I contacted a couple of people thru PMs to help on this but as an after thought I think it would be fun to see how it works out with more folks contributing

It's about what I feel is the criminal injustice of big wig CEO's hording their millions of dollars in bonuses while the company (and the rest of the working class) goes bust

I'll start it off

You squandered away

those you're supposed to save

I feel that to limit it to the businessmen doesn't share the bame sufficiently. The politicians who took big contributions from them to create an environment where this crap happened now sit and act surprised about it. They point fingers at business leaders from their holier than thou perch while their own fingers are just as deep in the pie.

The people who foolishly borrowed more money than they could ever hope to repay share some blame as well.

I agree completely.

I'd really like this to stand out with good strong lyrics that deny the "vendication" some have come to accept as part of the "American Dream"

You know, the get what ya can no matter what happens to anything or anyone else type of mentality that seems to be running amuck in not only the policital world but in society as well.

Actually, the line " The people who foolishly borrowed more money than they could ever hope to repay " would work well in the song
