Members blue2blue
Any post-post-rock band doing a Stephen Foster cover is OK with me. Your other stuff has little bits and flavors from a lot of bands from my lost youth, from early Pink Floyd to the San Francisco bands...
Members jedE3
Haha post-post-rock? Is that what I am? I've always been at loss for words when trying to describe my music. I know that 'You Know Me, Too' has the 'Sympathy For the Devil' homage, but what else is evoking the bands from your youth? I usually shoot for a sixties sound, but as this shows I go in other directions, too. The majority of music past 1969 that isn't psychedelic just doesn't really do it for me. What do you think of the content? Good? Bad? Any stand-out tracks? Feedback would be much appreciated!
Members eddieboston2
Here's the new Eddy Boston website. One of these days I'll get some new songs up there, too...

Well... note I didn't capitalize that... so I didn't necessarily mean a formal genre -- and I'm sure someone has already defined that and their definition excludes how I'm trying to use it here... but, anyhow, you know. A sort of subverted, somewhat reinvented reinvestigation of some of those long ago elements filtered through modern production techniques and conventions... how's that? Moderators Lee Knight Posted June 17, 2010 Moderators Share Posted June 17, 2010 A Lee Knight Production. I plan on sharing this again for the FIT. But for now, I'll share this here. The Saltlickers. Good friends of mine. I took this from their friend Ted's head (he's the writer) where it started as a country tune, to the rehearsal room where my good friend and ex-drinking buddy Scott played that sig riff and it hit me we hadn't heard a really cool hick AC/DC since The Kentucky Headhunters and I never much liked them. Just the concept. Let's kick this things ass! I picked up the bass and we took it later to my studio. So this Firecracker. True story. Apparently Ted lead an interesting life in rural Ohio. Here's to too much beer and a heart of gold. 2 guitars, drums, me on bass filling for Eddie (RIP Ed...), and the brothers Fitch on harp and vocals. And Johnny Cocker, you RIP too, brother.
