Hey everyone.

Ive got a little amp here I build quite a while ago. It sounds great, and is in an awesome cabinet, but has never looked finished due to the lack of a faceplate.

Has anyone any idea on how to go about creating one?

At the moment ive printed one from my PC and laminated it, but thats certainly no permanent solution.

Cheers,

James :thu: :thu:

So it cuts through the top layer to reveal the different colour below. Sounds ideal! Ill ask the local engraver if they can sort something like that.

Thanks for the reply. If anyone else has anything else to add, id be greatfull!

One method is to get some acrylic sheet cut to size (the places that sell it usually provide this service) then drill it so that the pots/switches etc keep it in place. Print off your graphics onto a sticker, slap it on the amp then overlay the acrylic plate and bolt everything back together again.

Hardcore on my super clean to light break-up amp :p

Thanks for your suggestions guys! Right now I have a faceplate printed from my laser printer, behind a thin piece of clear acrylic. Looks pretty cool.

Further to this, does anyone know where, hopefully UK, I can buy marshall gold or some silver material, as per marshall faceplates, on which to apply waterslide decals?

Cheers guys.
