Members Mr.Hand!
Just looking for opinions. It's about a month old now and I love Neil's Blackie. But I'm hesitant to put holes in this guitar.... Good God I didn't know what I was missing all these years without a LP. Just noticed I missed the B!!! whoops
Members Belva
If it's only a month old & you do a clean install, I don't see anything wrong with putting a Bigsby on this guitar. An original vintage "collector" guitar would be another story. If you butchered a vintage Paul most of the DIY'ers would hunt you down & spank you. Planning on a roller bridge as well? Might as well work right if you want to put it on. You could go with a LSR roller nut too if you have a 1 & 11/16" nut.
Members boytbpc
There are special mounts that you attach a bigsby to that replace the bridge. Thus no drilling required.
