Members Lord_Westwood Posted May 22, 2009 Members Share Posted May 22, 2009 Hi there, i currently have a Ibanez RGR08LTD and i really want to replace the killswitch with a tone knob as i do not need/use the killswitch, can someone tell me what i need to do this and possibly link me to the things i need? Members mrbrown49 Posted May 22, 2009 Members Share Posted May 22, 2009 I couldn't find a diagram, but it's pretty simple. Run a wire from the hot pup lead to the 1st lug of the tone pot (25K audio). Then solder a .1 mfd (I think) cap from the center lug to back of the pot. The back of the pot then get's connected to the sleeve of the jack.
