Members elamberth
I am having a problem witrh SONAR SE 3 and the Yamaha i88x. The yamaha sounds great, but when I set it up, SONAR only recognized every other mlan channel, i.e. 1,3,5,7, etc. I was able to map the channels to the physical I/O with the virtual patchbay. Annoying, but work-able. Now SONAR has decided to recognize only other mlan channels. Gone are 1,3,5,7 and we now have 11, 15, 17, etc. up to 31! How can I get the I/O back? re-doing the virtual patchbay is somewhat time consuming and I don't want to have to do it all the time. I have the demo of SONAR 4, and it recognizes the original 1,3,5,7, etc. Does SONAR 5 have this fixed? I am considering an upgrade, but if it's going to be like this, perhaps I should consider another DAW, like cubase. Thanks!

I have no idea what the problem is, but I've used Sonar from version 1 through 5.2 (current) and never seen this behavior. --Ethan

Members elamberth
OK, I fixed it. Somehow, SONAR un-highlighted some inputs and outputs so they were not being recognized. Odd, as I did not visit that part of SONAR, but it seems to be working OK now.Whatever....
