Members RainsongDR1000
Hey all, New to this forum (since I'm an acoustic guitar player/singer). Anybody know where I can buy/download drum tracks for songs? I'm interested in adding drum tracks to my acoustic duo without going though the whole time consuming process of programming each song with a drum machine. Something like Karaoke except only the drum track would be fine that could download to an MP3 player or something with cues etc. I found one www.drum-tracks.com that is about $8.00 a song but the selection is a bit limited. Any ideas? Either that or a website that tells you how to program songs in a machine. Thanks in advance!

Would that be an easier machine to learn to program for a noob like me as opposed the Boss DR whatever?
Members 1001gear
I have no experience with either series. The Alesis might be simpler because it offers less options. The Boss stuff would have more, and more modern presets but probably offers some added convenience with the added complexity. While I'm over simplifying, basically you pick your patterns, count your measures and chain 'em together in the form of the song. Tedious perhaps but not much of a learning curve. Members Wellhungarian
I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I can't believe this guy is on a drum forum asking us about where to buy pre programmed drum tracks. Let's smash his freakin acoustic guitar ala Belushi in Animal House. Do us all a favor and hire a real drummer!

Do you think if the places I play could actually fit a drummer I would even be asking this question? At least the web-site I mentioned is selling drum tracks recorded by an actual drummer on actual drums so there is at least ONE drummer out there I'm paying! I see a ton of threads on this forum on the subject of drum machines and nobody talks about smashin their guitar! Geez, forget I asked! I'll go back to the acoustic guitar forum!
