Members Cross Eyed Mary
http://ventura.craigslist.org/msg/759431331.html Seems a bit low for a vintage Supra, right? Or am i just retarded?
Members twosticks
I did a little bit of searching. Is normal to find 8 lug or Acrolites from that time in that range but couldn't find much on Supras from the same era. I wish that ad would show more pics of the Supra. Is there pitting? are the lugs rusty? Throwoff and snares intact? Stand? It does seem a tad low to me as well. It might be worth pursing if only you find out more before you buy. But the ad wording seems to inply he knows what he's got, so why doesn't he show more pics??
Members marko46
I agree with twosticks. See if the dude will send you some more shots of the drum. If he won't, or says he can't he's full of sh*t. My first Ludwig kit had a chrome supraphonic, and it was probably earlier then '65, more like '62 or '63. Research the badge also. Members cheeseadiddle
It's a supra, it's ludaloy [aluminum] and it's priced about average if it has a P-83 on it. If it has a P-85 on it... it's worth less.
Members Sonorlite
By the description(s) he has two drums. At the beginning..... " LUDWIG BRASS KEYSTONE BADGE SERIAL # 117339 DATES IT 1965 " At the end.... "ORIGINAL LUDWIG BRASS KEYSTONE BADGE SERIAL # 265915 DATES IT 1966." Or one drum with two badges.
